Dental Fillings

When there is decay (commonly known as a cavity), the decay is removed first and then dental restoration (amalgam or composite resin) is used to fill the void. Dental filling can also be used to repair cosmetic issues, such as minor fracture or closing unaesthetic gap between teeth.

Root Canal Therapy

When the nerve and blood vessel inside of a tooth is damaged (due to tooth trauma, fracture, or deep decay), treatment is done to clean out all nerve and blood vessels inside the tooth; and the canals (where damaged nerve and blood vessels used to be) are filled by medicine and an artificial nerve known as gutta percha. This treatment can help prevent or remove pain and infection.

Implant

When a tooth is missing, a dental implant can be implanted into the missing area to restore aesthetic and function. Generally, an implant is placed in the needed area for a few months, and a crown can be put in after the implant is deemed to be strong and functional.

Crown and Bridge

When a tooth is damaged more than what a dental filling can repair, a crown can be placed to restore the damaged tooth to make it aesthetic and functional.

When a tooth is missing, another option (besides a dental implant) is to bridge two adjacent teeth to fill the missing tooth in the middle.

Dentures

When all or multiple teeth are missing, dentures (full denture or partial denture) can be fabricated to restore missing teeth for function and aesthetics.  Sometimes a dental implant can be placed to increase the retention of dentures.

Periodontic
(Gum Cleaning)

To keep your gum and bone holding teeth healthy and strong, it is recommended that you do a regular evaluation of gum condition and scaling to remove plague and calculus (known as tartar). Chronically retained plague and calculus underneath the gum is the main cause of gum gingivitis (redness and swelling of the gum that bleeds easily) and gum disease (irreversible damage of the bone underneath the gum which functions to hold teeth).

Clear Braces

Clear braces, also called "invisalign," can shift teeth into a more aesthetic position to improve your smile and also your oral health.
